My name is Kirsten Monger (she/her pronouns) and I am licensed as a Professional Counselor by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists (C4532). I provide counseling via virtual telehealth video sessions. My clients are predominantly in the Greater Portland Metro Area, but I can see any clients in the state of Oregon virtually.

I first entered the field of mental health as a domestic violence hotline counselor in 2010 and from there my career has evolved over time. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Temple University in 2012 and then my master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacific University in 2014.

I focus on creating a supportive space in which clients feel they can both be themselves and feel comfortable talking about life's challenges at the same time. The best part of therapy happens when both therapist and client are able to meet each other as they are and work together collaboratively. I recognize that you are the expert on you, and with that in mind I hope to walk alongside you and assist you in developing the skills and insights that will meet your goals.

My therapy space will always remain anti-racist, body & sex positive/accepting, and gender affirming.
